I was a huge fan of the re-imagined Battlestar, it was bleak but had moments of hope about what might be best about human nature. The new Trek certainly has a better vision, as you articluate, one that I would like to live in. I haven't seen a movie twice at the theature in ages, but I'll be seeing this Stak Trek again, this time on IMAX. Excellent analysis.
